Developed under the close mentorship of veteran illustrators Liza Flores and the late Robert Alejandro during the 2019 Room To Read Illustrators Workshop, in collaboration with four of the major Philippine publishing houses; Adarna House, Lampara Books, Anvil, and OMH-Hiyas Literature. Room To Read is a global non-profit organization that promotes youth literacy and educational equality.

Along with other 19 Room To Read titles, the book was press-launched at the Museo Pambata in 2020 and soon reached the local bookstores.
The book was also distributed to several public schools in the Philippines.
